Industrial Moulds

Here at Moulded we bring you information and links to different types of industrial moulds. There are varying moulding processes and constituent moulds, from plastic and silicone to rubber and PVC. Industrial moulded products are manufactured in the form of soap moulds, shoe moulds, suppository moulds, aluminium moulds, road barrier moulds and cylindrical moulds. Moulds and injection moulding in particular is created by feeding thermo setting plastic into an extremely hot barrel that is then forced into a mould cavity that forms the required configuration. From this a metal mould is made by a precision machine to form the part required for the manufacture of large numbers of components. Anything from car body parts to bottle tops make injection moulded dies very economical with high production rates and usage with a variety of materials.
